Mobile Ductless Fume Cupboards
For smaller schools and colleges where space is limited or a fume cupboard isn’t used constantly, Innova’s mobile recirculating fume cupboards offer an excellent solution.
Available in standard sizes of 1000mm, 1200mm, these units are designed with glass panels on all four sides, providing students with 360-degree visibility of experiments. Additionally, they are easily movable between labs or classrooms and can fit through standard doorways, making them a versatile choice for facilities with space constraints.
The mobile recirculating fume cupboard features an integrated fan unit and carbon filter to recirculate air back into the laboratory. This carbon filter effectively handles all standard chemicals used in GCSE and A-Level experiments.

Docking Stations
When in use, the fume cupboard can be securely anchored to a docking station and easily repositioned against a wall once lessons are finished. Docking station are available as an optional extra. These are sturdy, lockable unit that provides connections for water, gas, drainage, and power, allowing for quick-release and convenient relocation of the cupboard.
Educators often install multiple docking stations so that a single mobile recirculatory fume cupboard can serve several classrooms. This approach is a space efficient and cost-effective alternative to installing permanent fume cupboards in each laboratory.

Turnkey Installation: From concept to completion
Innova’s project development service covers the entire process of designing, delivering, installing, and commissioning fume cupboards. Our fully accredited engineers ensure strict adherence to COSHH Regulations 9 and CLEAPSS 9 / Building Bulletin 88 standards. We rigorously test and certify all our products to meet the demanding requirements of BS EN 14175. This dedication to compliance is fundamental to our services, ensuring a safe and reliable laboratory environment.
Once commissioned, we supply all the necessary O&M Information and offer a 12month warranty on all our fume cupboards.
Full Service & Maintenance packages
Our annual maintenance service includes carbon filter saturation testing, as well as the supply and installation of replacement filters, in compliance with COSHH regulations.
All our educational fume cupboards are designed to meet the standards of CLEAPSS Guide G9 – Fume Cupboards in Schools (Revision of DfEE Building Bulletin 88) and have been independently tested and approved by CLEAPSS.
