In keeping with their dedication to providing first-class facilities, the school embarked on a project to modernise their ICT suites, aiming to enhance their technology infrastructure and learning environment.

The brief
The Royal Alexandra and Albert School is continually evolving through an ongoing development program designed to accommodate growing pupil numbers, modernise existing buildings, and create state-of-the-art facilities.
With the ICT suites located near the reception area, the school planned to upgrade these spaces into showcase facilities that would impress both students and visiting parents from the UK and EU.
A central requirement for this project was delivering a comprehensive turnkey solution offering a single point of contact to streamline the process and ensure, hassle-free project management from start to finish.
It was a proactive and positive experience which resulted in a high quality fit-out of our ICT classrooms.

The solution
Innova worked closely with the school to design, manufacture and install two state of the art ICT suites as part of a full turnkey solution which included partitioning as well as a new ceiling, lighting, decoration and flooring.
The ICT suites were installed with Innova’s sawtooth benching layout to maximise the working space for the students.
The design increases space for equipment and books and improves visibility, enabling the teacher to see all students’ screens and making classroom management easier. The seating arrangement also eases circulation, allowing teachers to quickly reach students who need support.

Innova also installed a multi-purpose teacher wall, designed to integrate teaching resources and storage, freeing up valuable classroom space. The teacher wall houses the interactive whiteboard, filing systems, and displays as well as integrated power and data cables.
With outstanding new ICT facilities to inspire staff and students for years to come, Royal Alexandra and Albert is equipping itself for the educational challenges of the future.
