The brief
The company was seeking a comprehensive refurbishment of their existing laboratories and offices to create inspiring and dynamic workspaces that would enhance the productivity and creativity of their R&D and QC teams.
The plan was to design environments that not only facilitated cutting-edge research and development but also encouraged collaboration and innovation.
Additionally, these spaces were intended to serve as a showcase for the company’s visitors, highlighting Ironsides’ commitment to quality and professionalism.
Working closely with Innova has enabled us to create a world class laboratory environment which enhances the impression we gave to existing and potential customers.

The solution
Innova delivered a complete turnkey solution, managing the entire project from the design of the laboratories and offices through to building works and final sparkle clean.
Two contemporary, space-efficient laboratories were created for both the R&D and QC teams, along with an office for the R & D manager. The project features bespoke furniture and storage, Trespa work surfaces, specialist glass surfaces for lubricant testing, desking, fume extraction, lighting, decor, flooring and new windows.
The project was completed on time and within budget and the teams are now benefitting from a contemporary, well-designed space perfectly suited to R&D development.
